Neighborhood Watch Information

The Township of Hanover Police Department continues to offer a Neighborhood Watch Program as well as home security assessments. The Neighborhood Watch Program involves the formation of a neighborhood group, usually headed by a Block Captain, whose primary purpose is looking out for each other. The group will receive training on how to observe and report suspicious activities in your neighborhood. A Neighborhood Watch Program enhances the security of a participating neighborhood by adding eyes and ears to the police department, who cannot be everywhere all of the time.

If you are interested in learning more about our Neighborhood Watch Program and/or a home security assessment, please contact either Lieutenant Michael Loock or Patrolman Pete Hermans by calling the main Police Dispatch Desk 973-428-2512.
