The POLICE DISPATCHER postion currently works a 12-hour 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. pittman schedule.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants must submit a resume and completed HTPD application to Lieutenant Robert Carpenter at 1000 Rt. 10, Whippany NJ 07981. The Township of Hanover is an EOE/ADA Employer.

- Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or GED. An associate degree or higher is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to multitask, type at a reasonable rate of speed and speak distinctly.
- Ability to deal with the public under stressful conditions and remain calm.
- Ability to operate standard office, data entry and computer equipment.
- Ability to operate two-way radio communications systems.
- Ability and willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Township personnel, associates, and the general public.
