The POLICE DISPATCHER postion currently works a 12-hour 7 am to 7 pm pittman schedule.

- Applicants must possess the following 3 certifications: 1. Basic Telecommunicator Certification, 2. Emergency Medical Dispatch Certification, 3. current CPR Certification
- Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or GED. An associate degree or higher is preferred but not required.
- Ability to multitask, type at a reasonable rate of speed and speak distinctly.
- Ability to deal with the public under stressful conditions and remain calm.
- Ability to operate standard office, data entry and computer equipment.
- Ability to operate two-way radio communications systems.
- Ability and willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Township personnel, associates, and the general public.
